Happy Birthday Vanilla- we celebrate 10 successful years in business

Last Thursday the Vanilla team headed to the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth Historic Dockyards to celebrate ten years in business.

Hard to belive that we have been in business for ten years. We Choose the Mary Rose museum as we feel immensely privileged to work in this great new venue. To be able to celebrate along side this historic ship was unique and emotional.

For our birthday bash we invited clients, suppliers, partners, friends, and family.

The great thing about hiring the Mary Rose Museum is you get a free tour of the museum so the evening kicked off with a bit of history and a tour finishing in the Admirals gallery where our guests were wined dined on the bespoke canapé menu as below

We were very privileged to have Naomi Thomas as our guest speaker. Naomi founded the Wedding Wishing Well which was our charity of the year 2013 and  e have decided that it will be our charity 2014.  For every guest you invite to your wedding or party Vanilla will donate 20p to Wedding Wishing Well Foundation which organises and funds Weddings for terminally ill people, so the more guestes you have the more money we give to Naomis chrity  Please visit their website www.weddingwishingwell.org.uk for full details of the amazing work they do.

 

Ten years is a real milestone for Vanilla. We have grown from a small sandwich supplier to a bespoke wedding and corporate banqueting events company. In the last 5 years we have grown the company by over 300% during a period in which the wider UK economy shrank by over 5 %. The Vanilla team of professional chefs, event managers and waiting staff have enabled this growth by their friendly, dedicated attitude, attention to detail and the kitchens passion for using the finest ingredients Hampshire has to offer. I am very proud of them, it is a pleasure to be surrounded by wonderful professionals with a positive can do attitude whose dedication to their profession and Vanilla  have made this possible.
