Red Caviar, Duck breasts and Li in her whites !

What a Glorious sunny weekend it was. We could not have wished for better weather to cater for Henry and Elena and Mike and Jenn’s Big day’s

 A marquee in the picturesque New forest was the setting for Henry and Elena .

The guests were treated to canapés on the lawn including Red Caviar , especially brought in from Russia  

 As an aside did you know ?

 Caviar,is a luxury delicacy, consisting of processed, salted, non-fertilized sturgeon roe.[1] The roe can be "fresh" (non-pasteurized) or pasteurized, the latter having much less gastronomic and economic value.[2]

Traditionally the designation caviar is only used for sturgeon roe, namely from the wild sturgeon species from the Caspian Sea, in most cases from Russia or Iran (Beluga, Ossetra and Sevruga caviars). These caviar varieties, according to their quality (flavour, size, consistency and colour) can reach (February 2009) prices between € 6,000 and € 12,000 per kilo, and are associated with gourmet and Haute cuisine environments and in our instance Henry and Elenas big Day !

The main meal commenced with an asparagus , Brie and Red Onion Tartlet. Followed by Duck Breast with a Balsamic and Sun dried Cherry Sauce.

The dessert was dark chocolate Mousse with orange creme brulee and Almond Crumble. Different wines complimented each course including Furore Bianco 2008. Costa d’Amalfi, Pinot Bianco 2008, Elena Walch and Chianti Vigna di Pallino 2007, the couple were toasted with Pierre Moncuit Rose Grand Cru

Mike and Jenn tied Knot at The Tithe  Barn in Ditcham . They had a  Hog Roast with all the trimmings

This week we cater for the marriages of Janet and Niall at the Tithe, Tim and Anna at Sorbeton and Karl and Helen at Winlsowe.

We also have a Birthday party for Heather at Winslowe (happy Birthday Heather, 21 again !)

Congratulation to our lovely head chef Li who married Gil last Thursday , she swapped her chefs whites for an stunning wedding dress.

Don’t forget that for every wedding we cater for, we donate 20p per head to our nominated charity Frank Water. So the more guests you invite to your wedding the more money we donate!
