Reasons to book Vanilla - straight from the clients mouth...ok email !

The Easter bunny has been and gone but we were so busy with Weddings at the weekend that we didn’t even really notice, We were kept busy catering for Tara and Steve, Jenna and Dan and Fran and Jay.

Three very different weddings that all passed by happily and already we have had thanks from our some of our happy newly weds

Me and Jenna would just like to say a massive thank you. You made the whole thing look so easy and I know that's down to how hard you must work at this, everyone commented how good the food was, especially the beef. I had no worries on the day knowing you had it all covered and this helped me loads. Please tell all your team how happy we are and thank them for their help.

It goes without saying that if anyone I know needs a caterer I will be recommending you 100%

Jenna and Dan – Tithe Barn – 7 April 180 guests

J and I wanted to send you an email to say thanks for making our wedding day so flawless. You, the food and staff were absolutely brilliant, you ensured it ran smoothly,  perfectly in fact ! We literally could not have done it without you. The guest were suitably impressed too.

Thanks again, not only for the day itself but your support and knowledge in the lead up to it, we will be recommending you without hesitation

Fran and Jay – Hill Place 7 April;

And here’s a couple from from last week:

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and all your wonderful team at Vanilla Catering for the brilliant time we all had at the Tithe Barn for our daughter Tora, and Nial's wedding on saturday.

You all worked so hard from way before the actual ceremony, right through to the very end. This was so obviously seen in your professional and attentive manner, and the attention to detail is a credit to you.

The food was absolutely delicious, starting with the scrummy canapes through to the wonderful wedding breakfast and finally finishing with the bacon butties!. We heard many comments and praise from our guests.

The setting of Tithe Barn is magical and we were so, so fortunate in having such a beautiful (and warm!) day. I don't think it could have been bettered.

Please would you be kind enough to pass on my thanks to those individual members of staff who did that bit extra for us... those who put each table name setting together, lit all the candles, wrapped the ribbon around the wedding cake, the efficient running of the evening bar; and clearing up after one of the children's 'accidents'. Please also accept my apology for such an unpleasant task - I'm sure that's not in your job description!

The whole day ran incredibly smoothly, from our perspective, and I know this is entirely due to your efficiency and professionalism in running such an organised and tight ship.

We heard from Tora and Nial before they set off on honeymoon yesterday and they both said it had been the best day of their lives; so please accept our sincere gratitude for your contribution in making the day so special for them, and for us and all our families and friends.

It really was a day we shall treasure and remember for always.

Ok Enough of singing our praises

Here at Vanilla HQ it’s all hotting up and we are now in the full flow of wedding fever. Today I am the Tithe barn again, can you believe it we are the Tithe barn 6 times this month ! we also have a new inclusive seasonal menu we have launched with the Tithe so if you want details of this please contact me.

Next week we are also at one of my other favourite venues; Farbridge and the marquee season starts with weddings at Hill place and Bradgate Manor so let’s hope this thundery weather passes soon.

Back at the office, Kits weight loss is slowing down but have no fear a few 17 hour days at weddings will soon have the weight dropping off him, that’s if he manages to resist the yummy food Lee and his team prepare. Our new Sally is settling in and yes it is causing confusion having two Sallys ! Emily will join us full time next Month when she finishes her degree in Event Management so that will liven up the office immensely….

Jane, our office manger is fighting a losing battle with all her office stationary,  no amount of labelling her staplers etc will stop them walking out of the office and finding their way along the pontoon to my lovely little boat, it’s a wonder it’s still afloat. Martin has a new jumper, we are still on the fence about this one, and I have a new bicycle arriving tomorrow, can’t wait to get out and thrash around the country lanes of Hampshire.

On a serious note you may or may not know our new Charity is facing the world ( so every wedding or party you book with us for a three course sit down we will donate 20p to our charity. Have a look at their website, everyone deserves the right to smile on their wedding day and Facing the World carry out amazing work helping children with severe disfigurements so that one day they too can do just that.

Have a good week for latest news, gossip and information follow us on twitter or face book
