Vanilla catering and Events are looking for a full time chef. The post is available immediately and is a permanent position. The successful applicant will be working closely with our team and includes everything from menu planning, ordering, stock control and preparation food using fresh produce. Must be able to work under ones own initiative. This is a demanding role and although based at our kitchens in Swanwick Southampton, you will be required to work at various outside venues, some of which have very limited facilities. Fancy the challenge of catering for 200 in a field with no water ?, this is a great opportunity to experience event catering at its best. We are looking for experienced cooks to work on Saturday's assisting our professional team at weddings throughout the area. It will be hot, hard work but very rewarding and great fun !
