Our Ethos

As a member of Hampshire Fare, we use local Hampshire suppliers wherever possible. We never use GM foods, our meat is supplied to Farm Assured Standards and we only ever use fish from sustainable sources.

We're dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint. We recycle everything that we can, encourage our staff to cycle to work, and our state of the art kitchens operate to the highest legislative standards in terms of emissions. We're also extremely proud to support ‘Love Food, Hate Waste’, a campaign from WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme), which aims to tackle the £12 billion worth of food wasted each year in the UK.

Giving back is something that we are extremely passionate about at Vanilla. For every wedding or three-course corporate event we cater for we donate 30p per head to our charity of the year. Our current charity is Surfers Against Sewage, www.sas.org.uk.

Other charities we have worked with in the past include: Breast Cancer Haven, Frank Water, The Ellen Macarthur Trust, Facing the World, The Wedding Wishing Well Appeal, The Marine Conservation Society, Meningitis Now.


We are passionate about ensuring that you get the function you desire. Vanilla is not simply a catering company. We offer a full events management service too. We will organise your event from set-up, through staffing and service to take-down and cleaning. This means that you can sit back, relax and enjoy the day with your guests.


Our dishes are made from the finest, freshest ingredients, locally sourced and in keeping with the seasons whenever possible. Each dish is prepared with flair and skill by our team of professional chefs. The menu can be tailored to suit your exacting needs.

A member of Hampshire Fare and based in Southampton, Hampshire, Vanilla organises functions in the South of England from West Sussex to Dorset and from Surrey to the South Coast.
